Roast Beef Hoagies with Spicy Garlic Steak & Grilling Sauce

These hoagies are so yummy, and quick & easy to fix! Try for lunch or dinner; feed a crowd of teenagers or a bunch of guys on poker night! They’ll ask for these again!

Time: 15 minutes
Broil Time: 3-6 minutes

  • 6 hoagie buns, split
  • 1/4 – 1/2  cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup  Fischer & Wieser Spicy Garlic Steak & Grilling Sauce
  • 1-1/2 to 2 pounds deli sliced roast beef (mesquite smoked preferably)
  • 1/2 purple onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small can sliced black olives
  • 12 slices provolone cheese

Cut rolls in half, and place on a baking sheet. Spread each half with mayonnaise and Fischer & Wieser Spicy Garlic Steak & Grilling Sauce mixture. Layer with roast beef, purple onion, black olives and Provolone.  Broil 3 to 6 inches from heat source for 2 to 4 minutes (keep a constant eye on it) until cheese is bubbly and beginning to brown. Mix up extra mayonnaise and Spicy Garlic Steak & Grilling Sauce as a dip for chips or hoagies. Serves 6

Sweet, Sour & Smokey Mustard Hoagies

Need a great way to use up leftover ham or smoked turkey? These great hoagies fill the bill!

Prep time: 10-15 minutes
Broil time:  10 minutes

  • 4 hoagie buns, sliced lengthwise
  • 8 ounces ham or smoked turkey, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Fischer & Wieser Sweet, Sour & Smokey Mustard Sauce
  • 4 slices Pepper Jack cheese
  • 1 small can sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup diced green onion
  • 4 large leaves Romaine or Bibb lettuce
  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced

Set oven to broil (500 degrees F.) Place hoagies on baking sheet, buns open. Spread inside surfaces with Fischer & Wieser Sweet, Sour & Smokey Mustard Sauce. Layer ham or smoked turkey, black olives, green onions and cheese on buns; broil until cheese is melted, approximately 10 minutes. Add Romaine or Bibb lettuce leaves and tomato slices. Serves 4
