Sliced Ham with Hatch Chile & Pineapple Salsa

There couldn’t be an easier answer to “What’s for dinner?” than this quick entrée! Just serve with a quick side of buttered pasta and a salad, and you’ve got a great meal.  Enjoy!

Time: 10 minutes
Bake Time:  25- 30 mi

1 tablespoon flour
1 browning bag
1/2 to 3/4 cup Fischer & Wieser Hatch Chile & Pineapple Salsa
1 1-1/2 pound slice center cut ham, 3/4 to 1 inch thick

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Place flour in browning bag, close top, and shake bag. Place approximately 1/3 cup Fischer & Wieser Hatch Chile & Pineapple Salsa in bag and mix with flour. Place ham slice on top of salsa flour mixture. Pour remainder of Fischer & Wieser Hatch Chile & Pineapple Salsa on top of ham slice. Close bag and puncture holes in the bag with a fork. Place in oven and bake 20-25 minutes, or until ham slice is completely done, slightly browned around edges. Remove ham slice from bag. Pour juices into bowl. Serve with juices from browning bag alongside. Serves 2-4

Artichoke & Olive Salsa Dip

This is a great dip that couldn’t be easier! The best part is crunching down on those delicious artichokes from our distinctive Fischer & Wieser Artichoke & Olive Salsa.

 Prep Time:  10 minutes

1 8-ounce block cream cheese, softened
1 cup (8 ounces) Fischer & Wieser Artichoke & Olive Salsa
1 cup Italian Blend shredded cheese
¼ cup chopped pecans
¼ cup chopped black olives
¼ cup chopped green onions

 Mix all ingredients together in large mixing bowl. Pour into serving dish.
Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or bruschetta. Serves 6

Beef Tacos with Fischer & Wieser Artichoke & Olive Salsa

Love tacos?  You’ll love them even more with Fischer & Wieser Artichoke & Olive Salsa complementing the flavors. Not your everyday fare, but will become an everyday favorite!

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time:  15 minutes  

1 pound lean ground beef (or turkey)
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 cup Fischer & Wieser Artichoke & Olive Salsa
1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
¾ – 1 cup diced tomato
2 sliced avocados
½ cup diced onion
½ cup sour cream
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Brown beef (or turkey) with salt and pepper; drain fat. Add Fischer & Wieser Artichoke & Olive Salsa and heat through. Spoon ¼ cup of meat mixture down the center of each tortilla. Top with lettuce, tomato, avocado slice, onion, sour cream and Monterey Jack cheese. Fold tortilla around filling. Serve with additional Fischer & Wieser Artichoke & Olive Salsa. Serves 4-6

Roasted Blueberry Chipotle Salsa

Looking for just that perfect munchie to get your party off to the right start? Look no further. This quick, easy and absolutely delicious salsa will do the trick. Even better, you can make it a day ahead and store it in the refrigerator. Just pop it out when you’re ready and serve it alongside a basket of corn tortilla chips.

  • 2 cups canned mandarin orange segments, well drained and roughly chopped
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup Fischer & Wieser Roasted Blueberry Chipotle Sauce
  • 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 cup minced fresh basil
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
  • 1 large jalapeno, seeds & veins removed, minced
  • Corn tortilla chips

Combine all ingredients except corn tortilla chips in a medium-sized bowl and stir to blend well. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Turn salsa out into a serving bowl and serve with corn tortilla chips.

Easy Salsa Chili

That’s the name our staff gave this dish when it was tested by our chef!  Another name-”Beer drinkin’ chili!” Just 10 minutes and it’s in the crockpot, ready to simmer until you’re ready to eat!

Prep Time:  10 minutes
Cook Time:  3-6 hours

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • 4 cups (2 16-ounce jars) Fischer & Wieser Black Bean & Corn Salsa
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese

Brown ground beef and chopped onion in heavy skillet over medium heat. Drain. Pour beef and onion mixture into crock pot. Add Fischer & Wieser Black Bean & Corn Salsa, chili powder and garlic powder (if desired).  Set crockpot on high and cook 3 hours, or low and cook 6 hours. Serve with tortilla chips, shredded Mexican cheese, if desired. Serves 4-6

Ashley’s Artichoke & Olive Salsa Hot Dip

This is a quick, easy and absolutely delicious dip that your guests will rave about!

Prep Time:  10 minutes
Bake Time:  30 minutes

Preheat oven to 350° F. Mix all ingredients together and pour into a casserole dish. Bake at 350° F. for 30 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or bruschetta. Serves 6

Sweet & Savory Onion Glaze Pineapple Salsa

A delicious alternative to your regular salsa.

Prep Time:  15-20 minutes
Grill Time:  3-5 minutes

3 (1/2 “) pineapple rings
1 14.5 ounces canned tomatoes
1/2 small yellow onion, finely chopped
1 lime, seeded & juiced, juice reserved
1/2 cup Fischer & Wieser Sweet & Savory Onion Glaze
2 teaspoons salt
1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped

Heat a gas grill to medium heat; grill the pineapple, turning 3-4 times. On the last turn glaze the pineapple rings with the Fischer & Wieser Sweet & Savory Onion Glaze and allow this to caramelize on the pineapple. Let pineapple cool and then cube into 1/2 ” cubes. Mix the cooled pineapple, tomatoes, onion, lime juice, salt, and jalapeno together and stir thoroughly. Let the flavor develop even more by refrigerating overnight. Serves 6.

Peach Salsa Fiesta

A party for your mouth!

Prep Time:  10-15 minutes
Cook Time:  15-20 minutes

  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 1 pound chicken, pork, or beef stew meat, cubed
  • 2 cups Fischer & Wieser Das Peach Haus Peach Salsa
  • 1-3/4 cups canned corn, drained
  • 1-3/4 cups canned black beans, drained and rinsed

Brown onion in oil until tender, add meat and brown, 15-20 minutes.  Stir in Fischer & Wieser Das Peach Haus Peach Salsa, corn, and black beans.  Simmer 20-25 minutes.  Serve with white or Spanish rice.
